We are rolling...
Things are getting underway at the studio.
Painting classes have already begun.
There is a new "workshops" menu on the website.
Below is a quick reference list of upcoming dates and when things start up.
This weekend we are hosting the first class in our painting foundations series. This Grisaille intensive takes place Jan. 17. 10 - 4pm and will help you to better understand value, mixing proper scales while navigating around your palette effectively. This is a must for anyone who hasn't mastered turning the form in paint, painted a grisaille before, or jut wants to brush up on their fundamentals. All skill levels welcome.
The same evening we will host Bunny’s book club in the evening 5-8 pm.
DROP IN SESSIONS
Starting this upcoming Monday morning Jan. 12th with RISE & DRAW
we will roll out the remaining drop in sessions one by one over the next few weeks.

Mornings being 9:30 - noon & evenings 6:30 -9pm.
The studio is closed Stat holidays which included Family Day Feb. 16th.
Note: This semester we are swapping two time slots:
LONG POSE and Portrait nights will trade, in hopes to attract more participants and painters in the evenings. You’ll notice they end earlier so you wont have to stay out as late to draw with us.
Once we are operating at full capacity there will be 5 drop in sessions per week that you can attend. Multi-pass uses are encouraged to attend and use up those credits.

Pay attention: We aren't running a drop in session January 22.
Instead Elena Bushan is having her opening of her arts how it is a wonderful collection of colourful pieces many of which were created in this very studio at one of the many drop in sessions we host. She has offered to do a Demo at Atelier Artista at 4:30 until the opening at 6. So kill two birds with one stone and come and see her work, and her artwork.
So far it has been less than two weeks into the new year and it is already shaping up to be really exciting and we hope you can join us for some of the many creative happenings we have coming up.
