Entrance Requirements
All skill levels welcome. With the exception of intermediate and advanced level classes, students are not required to have had any previous training or to submit a portfolio in order to attend classes. Special workshops or guest instructors may require additional prerequisites. Students must be 18 years or older to enrol or must receive written parental consent.
Classes & Cancellations
Class size is limited. Classes are subject to cancellation if an inadequate number of students register. In this event, all paid tuition will be refunded for the cancelled days with notice of cancellation.
In order to keep prices low, and to be fair to all students, we don't give refunds or offer makeup days for missed classes. In rare cases of extreme emergency, we will do our best to fill your spot. If we can fill your spot, we can offer a refund minus administrative fees. We’d like to offer you the best education experience by being accommodating if possible however there are no refunds for missed classes.
Substitution Policy
Atelier Artista reserves the right to provide qualified substitutes for its scheduled instructors in the event of professional or personal changes in schedule.
Lost, damaged or stolen items
Atelier Artista is an open studio in a public building, we are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged articles at the studio.
Student Work
Atelier Artista reserves the right to use images of students and student artwork on a temporary basis, for exhibition and promotional purposes, with respect for the privacy of the individual.
Photography
We take photos for promotion during some classes. By attending a class, you agree to allowing your image to be used on media including but not limited to social media, the website, advertising and print media. We understand some have greater needs for privacy and do not wish to be photographed. If this is the case, simply request to not be pictured and we will not include you in any of our social media or promotion.
Other costs
Atelier Artista accepts no responsibility for any student loss associated with unrecoverable travel costs or reservations.
