We are inspired by the French academic artists and their sumptuously decorated studios. By surrounding ourselves in the decor, equipment and unfinished art projects hung floor to ceiling we hope to inspire all those who stroll through the door.
In the summer things quiet down in terms of the regular drop in sessions. We are asking around determine interest and timing of what to run after Canada Day and it seems like theres a lot more people than we thought who want to continue into the summer months.... more on that below
Before that happens drop in sessions will be running until Canada Day.
You can always check the online calendar or the social media for updates.
It is far easier to say what isn't happening, we will not have the following sessions as bunny will be out of town:
No Figure Friday June 12th or June 26th
No Rise and Draw June 22
No painting classes June 22 & 23
We will keep running portrait night on Mondays into July as was just decided tonight, the caveat being that it'll go as long as enough people show up. Coerce your friends, family and co-workers to pose for us. We are always looking for fresh faces.
This year we will forego the youth camps in order to support and inspire more intensive focus with our adults.
We will try something completely new and run a pilot residency program during Stampede, though its self directed in theme, YOU DO NOT have to do "western" art, but we do encourage the eating of Pancake Breakfast at cSPACE July 7th 9am with us.
