We are hosting a new opportunity this year in lieu of summer camps.
 
What is a residency?
 
Traditionally it means you go study and rent abroad, but we have excellent resources here that shouldn't be missed out on.
 
Save on paying for airfare and accommodations in another locations and rent a studio space, and become a resident artist at Atelier Artista this year instead.
 
You'll get access, know how and great light from the north facing windows.
 
Basically, we will offer space to a few select creatives to carve out an area in the studio and use the specialized equipment in the studio. You will be able to leave your things set up for the duration of the program. You will have access to come and go as you please during cSPACE Hours of operation and to use any equipment, tools etc necessary for you to focus on your work.
 
This is a way of getting guidance on your particular projects, as well as taking advantage of  professional studio space and equipment and an incredible price.
 
The residency is self guided and you choose your materials and focus. There is no imposed timeline or activities. come and go as needed.
 
The residency will begin with a welcome package which includes a self assessment to determine your goals for the time frame.
 
If the group determines a common theme (other than stampede horses) and in need of specific lighting or model booking, or use of photo backdrops we will arrange activities around the needs otherwise the studio time is free form for you to work and get some coaching and guidance through out the residency.
 
During Stampede theres the bonus of being a hop skip and a jump away from the cSPACE stampede breakfast, then go on working after getting stuffed for free.
