We are coming up on the last workshop in May and quite possibly the last until our Autumn semester.
Yulia Tsinko has been studying abroad at the Barcelona Academy of Art. She has brought new knowledge back home. This is your chance to see a new approach to figure from life. This is our only window to learn what she has, and to soak up that know how without paying the incredible costs and additional air fare. She will be returning to Spain, so set yourself up before she's gone and join us for this workshop May 30th.
There will be one more month of opportunities.

Drop ins:
We will have drop in until Canada day. The models are all booked.
This includes 5 session to drop in or use your multi-passes:
Monday Rise & Draw 9:30 - Noon
Wednesday Short pose 6:30 -9pm
Thursday Long(er) pose
Fridays 9:30 -Noon Instructed Short pose
+ Mondays portrait night 6:30 -9:30. *Oh yeah we are trying a longer session, adding half an hour but you don't need to stay that late if you don't want to. Same price more time! There's a small chance you can twist my rubber arm for more if there are enough people who will show up.
COURSES:
We will have three painting course remaining until our Summer semester
(*no sessions 22 & 23 as Bunny may be out of the country)
Tuesdays Elena Bushan will be offering her tips and tricks on painting brilliant colourful art until the end of June. We are very lucky to get her teaching in our studio. I personally have grown so much and learned from her over the years. I recommend f you can make a Tuesday afternoon you get guidance on how yo you can have brighter more beautiful paintings. Please take advantage of the great light we have coming in through our north facing windows Tuesday afternoons 11 - 2pm.
There is only one more month of classes and we currently have them listed as single sessions so you can pay for one and try it out or go week by week.
Soon you will see the "Courses tab" disappear on the website and "residency" appear until the end of summer with our new pilot of adult camp type programs.
Also It would be criminal for me not to mention that the Oliver Sin course is over half full and I'd be remis not to mention it again because I'm sure come autumn, people will be crying as they tell me they wish they had known and signed up before it sold out. Registration is below.
There will be lots of great shows and plein air activities coming up. CSPACE has a market every Saturday 10-2pm. Bunny will be creating works along many other Atelier people for the Mush Love show in July. I'm sure we are all behind on our gardening but I hope you squeeze in some more art at our studio before it turn to BBQ, stampede and sunburn season.
