ART ADVENTURE:
A whirlwind adventure, short and sweet. I had a sliver of time on my Paris adventure. I managed to fill the well and bring back inspiration to share with you too. BLOOMS & BRUSHES WORKSHOP
What an amazing, beautiful and good smelling time. Jet lagged and surviving on coffee, it was a pleasant way to reintegrate into Calgary for me. From Galina Hughes we learned how to prepare and arrange seasonal cut flowers. After creating our own bouquet, which we got to take home afterwards, Elena Bushan taught up the principles and techniques to paint the flower arrangements we made. I learned quite a few things that I'm excited to integrate into my own painting, and maybe i'll do more flowers in the future this summer as well. You really cant go wrong with a session like this. We are collecting names and emails for a waitlist to see if there is enough interest to run it one more time, possibly. Below are some pics I snapped at the special session.
