Study drawing the form of the head at any angle. Students will memorize and understand the proper proportions of the face through learning the Loomis measurements, abstractions based on the Reilly rhythms, and how to depict the illusion of form and shadow relative to the planes of the face. Study how to draw and design features to create realistic looking portraits using a conceptual framework.
