Learn the essential skills to paint compelling portraits. We cover structure and proportions, how to block in colour and a variety of life like skin tones. Students learn a variety of techniques including a more methodical and time intensive Renaissance style of layering paint to create glowing skin tones. Learn to secrets of capturing likeness and that special sparkle in the eye that brings painting to life. We will have live portrait models sit for multiple sessions at the end of term.
